Nikki has been shooting videos her entire life- just ask her cousin, who vividly remembers Nikki fondly with a camcorder in hand in their grandparents basement, making up dances to all the greatest Spice Girls hits.
Deep in the trenches of new motherhood, during a vulnerable chat about life dreams, her mom asked her what would bring her the most joy.
She said she’d always wondered if everyone else saw life through a movie screen in their mind?
Her mom said no- that’s you, girl. Do something with it.
The next day, she switched her DSLR into video mode and recorded a short film about a day in the life with her baby and toddler. She posted it to Facebook. By the end of the week, she had her first wedding gig.
For ten years she took a break from shooting to focus on her family, but she continued to edit for others during that time. In 2025, she finally followed that little voice in her head that never left, and she picked up a camera again- never to look back.
